This weekend we attended the international dog show in Wels with our boy ÖJUCH Crystal Spirit Dr. Dee Dee.
On Saturday, 3.12., Dee Dee achieved in a strongly occupied intermediate class a very good third place,
rated V3 / Exc.3 by judge Mr. Andrea Pandolfi (I). On Sunday, 4.12., he performed event better againstkeen competition
and was rated V2 / Exc.2 by judge Mrs. Claudia Berchtold (A) and also achieved the Res. CACA!
On the same day Dee Dees father "Teo" (Dolphingham Dreamweaver) won the open class and by that obtained the title Austrian Champion
- we congratulate Teo and his owners Claudia and Marco Cappellari to this great success!
With this show-weekend Dee Dee completes a super-successful season 2011, in which he was able to prove his class: he achieved
the title Austrian Junior Champion, is Club Junior Winner 2011, achieved a Junior BOG2 and a Junior BIS and in the final shows
starting already in intermediate class one CACA and one Res. CACA!
We are very proud of Dee Dee and Teo!

Resolving Oneiric Wireless Issues |

How to resolve the wireless / wlan problems with Intel Pro Wireless 4965 on Ubuntu 11.10 oneiric ocelot:
After upgrading my Ubuntu installation to 11.10 oneiric on my Alienware M15x suddenly the wireless / wlan network connection didn't work properly. Basically it works, but with terribly slow speeds and/or connection "hangs" -- unbearable for daily work on the system.
A quick workaround was to boot with the old 2.6 kernel from the previous 11.04 release but meanwhile it seems that I have found a real solution for the problem here:

In short, I did this:
- gksu gedit /etc/modprobe.d/options.conf
- options iwl4965 11n_disable=1
That did the trick for me! Now everything works fine as intended.
